Editorial Standards

Last updated October 30, 2026

Accuracy first

Our stories are based on information the people involved shared publicly, such as interviews, memoirs and official statements, or on facts widely reported by established outlets and biographers. Where an account is disputed or comes from a single source, we say "reportedly" or name the source.

No rumors, no fake quotes

We do not invent quotes, publish rumors about private lives, or present speculation as fact.

Respect

We write about real people, many of whom have families still living. We avoid content that mocks people's appearance, health or private struggles.

Honest headlines

Our headlines describe what the article actually contains. We do not use misleading or shock headlines.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. Send correction requests through our Contact page.
